PLS AG wanted to take a step towards digital working and offer clients a more modern experience. Pyxa built a focused application for preparing arcade machine revenue statements during a visit.
A familiar process, on screen
Previously, PLS AG filled out and signed two paper copies on site, then entered the information into its books. The new tool supports the same visit on a phone or tablet, with an internet connection.
After counting the money on site, the employee selects a client and enters the revenue for each relevant machine category. A statement can include several categories, with the distribution percentages entered for each one. The application calculates the shares, fees and payout.
Signed on site, shared by email
The client signs directly in the tool. A PDF brings together the location, machine revenue, distribution, card fees, payout and signature, and is sent to the client by email. PLS AG can access its copy in the application.
A first step towards digital working
Pyxa built the application with Laravel and Livewire using specifications and documents provided by PLS AG. The MVP has been used for some clients for about a year and has gone through several rounds of updates and fixes as it was used.
The tool supports the statement itself; PLS AG still enters information into its books separately, and much of its wider process remains on paper. There is currently no correction feature after signing.
Have a paper-based process that could benefit from a focused digital tool? Let’s talk.
